Hi, folks, just looking for some input here. I've been living well single (unattached/monk) for about 14 years now, and I think I have some worthwhile things to contribute. I'm trying to figure out the best way to go about it, and I could use some input, if you can spare a moment. I'll try to be brief.

I should mention up front that making money isn't my intention. My motives are intrinsic, based on the enjoyment I get from writing, the fun of expressing myself, and the belief that I might be helping someone, even in a small way.

Writing is one of my skills, so I'm inclined to start a blog. I've already had a blog (on a different subject) for a while, and I enjoyed it, so I know the basics of how to do that. I eventually shaped that material into a book. I'd do the same with the MGTOW-related stuff, too.

However, I'm aware that people don't read much anymore. There is so much competition for people's attention from social media, Youtube, Netflix, cellphones, TV, games -- all of the audio-visual entertainment. People don't read blogs or books much.

So the idea of a Youtube channel occurred to me -- not instead of the blog, but in addition to it, as a way to help it get some traction. I have no experience creating a Youtube channel, but I'm sure I could learn.

I wouldn't be like Joker or Coach Greg, out in front of the mike. Two reasons. First, because I don't want to get "out'ed" in real life. Second, because I'm not very good as a spontaneous speaker on camera. Not my strong suit. I would do better by having a script or outline, then narrating over a video of some sort.

The general theme would be "reasons to go your own way" or "reasons to be single." I've got about a hundred of them, so plenty of material. I wouldn't do the reaction vids that are so popular, and I wouldn't put out content every day. It would be more occasional, and all of it would center on that theme of "reasons to be single/GYOW."

I'm not sure whether I want to speak entirely from a MGTOW perspective and identify myself closely with MGTOW or red pill, or whether I want to take a more Joker-esque approach, using a different tag like "bachelor" and speaking to single life in general, from a male perspective but avoiding the types of MGTOW positions that are more female-bashing. I'm aware that if I use MGTOW, everything will be demonitized (btw, anyone ever notice the similarity between the words "demonitized" and "demonized"?).

I'd appreciate any thoughts that you might have. Do you think creating a MGTOW-ish blog is worthwhile? How about a MGTOW-ish Youtube channel? Do you have any experience with doing either of these things? If so, how did it go? Any big obstacles? What do you think about the idea of a MGTOW-ish channel that focuses on "reasons to go your own way (or stay single/unattached)"? What about trying to speak from a male perspective, but also being open to women, avoiding being unnecessarily derogatory of them, etc.? Does that sound do-able, or do you think I'd just end up getting shot by both sides?
