I agree! If there’s gonna be a holiday honoring women there should be one for men! My daughter told me yesterday all matter-of-fact that it was Women’s Day, and we should do something to celebrate. I just calmly said “not until there’s an International Men’s Day”. She had that ‘aha moment’ and said, “it’s not fair that only women have a day. I may be a single mom, but I’m raising two girls and two boys...makes me sick the way society elevates women while depriving men of recognition.

Men's mental health is a valid and important cause. If that's the underlying problem you want to address then you should lose the "Men's Day" language. That only makes it sound like you're pouting about not getting enough attention, one day after Women's Day.

Sorry but this is what woman do! Men have to take what's theirs as individuals not ask for permission. Minds and actions have to be changed then everything else will follow. We find ourselves in this position because we allowed it not because it was taken away!!

Well. I see a lot of resistance to an idea, well intentioned, brought forward by a young man who is, at his core right now, going his own way. And regardless of the end result - which none of us can know - I see the positivity he is trying to bring forward in the best way he currently knows how.

If MGTOW is truly a place for us to discuss and support each other as men, we are in the process of failing this young man.

We (men) LET them have International women's day. Men preserved our country by shedding blood and dying in WW2 (brutal death on Normandy, ripped apart by machine gun fire or drowning to death). We protected our country and way of life. We let them gain equal rights to vote, work and get educated. There is no/was no conspiracy to hold down women. That's what feminists keep twisting, in order to be perpetual "victims" of the "patriarchy".

Everyday is Men's Day! The majority of industrial deaths are men. Men ensure we have clean water, electricity, plumbing, heat and more. Everyday we are winning for our country and society. We sacrifice a lot.

This is slacktivism at it's finest and will result in zero change whatsoever. Start talking about direct action like a men's general strike every year on November 19th and then you'll get my attention. Unfortunately, that'll never happen because men in the West are either too complacent/apathetic/materialistic, feel they have too much to lose, have been propagandized into believing they are wrong for standing up for themselves (and surrounded by a society that feels the same) or just don't give a fuck. In case you haven't figured it out, this is the reason why MGTOW exists in the first place. It sounds cowardly and I kinda hate myself for writing this, but you can't do anything about this unless the rest of society changes and this petition will have exactly fuck all to do with that, so just stop.

Petition aside, I read a women's day email from a woke workplace telling everyone to praise women for their efforts in the workplace. Do you know how fucking stupid this would sound for men? Praising men for showing up to work? I thought it was the most sexist/simp email I'd read in a while.
