Where I live this trend didn't came up yet. We are still on the false-rape-accusations-to-not-be-called-a-whore-or-get-money/attention stage. To my surprise lots of them is getting either condemned by the people in general* or by the law**. Regardless, I still think #metoo will come up. I prefer to antecipate these waves, but when we are on transition points it is more difficult to find how to behave. There certainly is lots of women here that knows what this about, but lots of other would consider it hysterical.

* a married women went on a stage with a short skirt to dance and kiss with her arms around the singer. Video goes viral, and she claimed he was holding and forcing her. People called on her bullshit and she did a video apologizing. (Husband forgave her. Heh.)

It's simpler to just lie. Lie that you work at a measly job, like a urine sampler or some shit. To make it more conceivable, live in a small, humble apartment or with your parents. Never show off your money even in front of other guys, to be as safe as possible.

Your conversations with women at work should be limited to "Good morning/afternoon" and polite conversations about work. The same thing goes for your male colleagues by the way. A Sexual harassment accusation is just one thing that can go wrong if you say too much. Keep your political opinions to yourself... if they happen to clash with those of management you could be in trouble. If you have social media accounts, keep them clean. Don't post anything there that you wouldn't be happy to see on the front page of the New York Times.

The number of things you can be fired for these days is ridiculous, and there are lots of people out there waiting to replace you. Keep everything clean.

Actually their preferred tool is Gossip. They take situations, watercooler discussions, off-book meetings, hallway overheards, and whatever ammo they can find, then turn those into slanderous misrepresentations that they then tell (or sell) to (incompetent) inexperienced managers for favor.

Sexual innuendo is sometimes used among co-workers, very rarely towards management. Most managers, directors, or owners, are not that stupid these days - most will not be honey-trapped into sexual harassment/assault cases. They are more interested in getting co-workers to do their work for them, then using whatever to slander them behind their backs. Obviously if you are the short, bald, and ugly co-worker you will be removed via sexual harassment asap. The married co-workers are safe to use sexual innuendo on, because they are basically impotent to do anything serious. If you are a manager that do not listen to the gossip, or call her out on it, then do not ever get caught alone anywhere with her, or you are done.

Slander and gossip is much more effective, especially with female managers. Male managers mostly care that the projects progress as planned, so insinuations that some areas are not going as well as reported, or certain team members slacking off (or taking time off), are commonly the subjects of gossip. Upper management, especially those that lounge in their corner offices and are out of touch with the workroom floor, are extremely susceptible. If you work for such a corporate, find another job, because I can guarantee that your department is being mismanaged, and now you know why.

Make the full use of the modern technology, guys. Everyone has a camera/voice recorder (aka "the smart phone") in his pocket nowadays and all it only takes a push of the button to activate it. For example, I'm selling my condo nowadays and and everyone entering it gets video & audio recorded by both a stationary camera and my phone. Let anyone even try to lie about anything and I'll forward those recording straight to the cops & my lawyer.
