Sounds a little butthurt to be honest.

You definitely do not have to be her best friend but from your tone it is comes across as she is inside your head. I take it she dumped you or cheated on you.

I would say a better response would simply be a quick good day and move on....it speaks that you are not in her frame or her orbiter but additionally are mature enough to understand that most relationships all end at some point.

There are a few factors-

You did the self-respecting thing and told her basically to fuck off-- but if she got too offended, she'll try to turn your social group against you.

If you wanted ex-sex, giving her a cold shoulder like that might make her want to try harder- or it might rattle her fragile ego and make her want revenge. Depends.

I think only you can answer your question, given the lack of context, her character, etc.
