Its not natural. Men must leave the nest. Have her live in the same neighborhood as you and visit often. Far better and healthier for both of you

As a man who raised a single mother, honestly do not move in with her. I know it's hard to abandon mom to the wastes but you need to preserve your own life here. She has made choices that left her alone at 65+ and you can do your best to support her as long as it doesn't drain you, financially or emotionally.

It's admirable that you want to take care of her, really.

But it won't be so straight forward to bring girls home when your elderly mom lives there with you. I think the worst things will be that your mom may not feel comfortable, and it could be a very big mood killer for the girls.

Is there any way in which she could perhaps live a short <5 minutes walk away from you instead?
