The stbx and I are proceeding with a fairly efficient dissolution that will finalize 09/15 (via zoom, which is awesome).

Just over four years ago, I took the only bit of cash I've ever had in my life and put a down payment on our family house.

Two young kids. First home. Bought all new furniture for her and the kids. Built a proper home for our family.

Tomorrow I move out of that home, and today it's finally hit me how sad I am. Walking away from this space is a tough pill to swallow, but my kids will have some continuity & stability, which is what this place was always supposed to provide.

Cheers to all the men out there struggling with some of the realities of your divorce. Stay strong.
