So this week I did as my lawyer advised me to do close both my checking and savings accounts that my stbxw was on and open new ones and have my money put there. He also advised me to have her removed from my credit card and remove her from being a beneficiary on everything. He also advised that by this weekend I need to move out of the condo in which we were staying that happens to be her friends condo. All of which has been done he also said no contact with her as well. So Thursday when I got paid I transferred all my money to my new accounts and closed my savings account and had the paperwork started for removing her from my credit card, I couldn’t close the checking account Thursday due to a pending charge well once it cleared late that night I decided that Friday evening before work I would stop in and close that account which I did and coincidentally she put 20$ in the account to keep it open well I withdrew said money and closed the account. Where this all got interesting is about 30 minutes after I started this Thursday morning I started getting texts and phone calls from her and her family demanding that I put my paycheck in the joint account which I did not do. Also along with that demand were threats of calling my job, getting a motorcycle club involved, threatening to take me to the cleaners and my personal favorite the name calling and accusations. Not only did they do this to me but started calling and texting my mother and saying derogatory things to her and calling her names. These texts and phone calls did not stop till after 3am Friday morning. Then on my fb profile her mother decided that she was going to try and publicly shame me. Well during all of this I found that she had borrowed money from her parents a week before I got paid and had promised to pay her parents back after I got paid well the “money” she borrowed was supposed to have been given back the day after she accepted it because I told her I don’t want to borrow the money from her parents so needless to say the $500 she wanted me to put back in the account was to pay her parents back because that just so happened to be the amount she borrowed from them. So these next few days are going to be interesting to say the least. And with just about all the communal property in my possession she’s threatening to get a uhaul and go to my mother’s house to get everything well from what I took from the lawyer is that she technically can’t take it unless she wants to pay her half of the debt and all I legally have to give her is her clothes and personal effects that she had before the marriage so she won’t need a uhaul but maybe just a large suv or pickup truck. Also not to mention the tag on her jeep that is in my name expired at midnight on Friday and I have the new registration at my mothers house but she doesn’t know that. But on a positive note since I moved out of her friends condo and put some distance between her and myself I have been sleeping better and feel like I have had a huge weight lifted off my shoulders. With that being said my friends and family have both noticed that I have been happier and smiling a lot more.

So update guys this morning when I got home from work and getting ready to take a nap so I could get my body ready for my upcoming day shift I checked my email and found out that my stbxw had changed all my information to my cell phone account and had me locked out so I emailed my lawyer and he said I could go ahead and terminate her phone line since she is doing things like that. It only cost me what was owed on the phone to do so. Also the papers were filed today so in the next 7-10 days she will be served and since I didn’t know which address she was staying at now I gave them her parents address and her friends condo address.
