College campus vs being a bachelor in a major city, where do you think a guy has more opportunities in regards to getting laid and driving up that lay count?

Here's my 2 cents: Abundence Mentality, and personal skill set

My subjective definition:

Take a man with high SMV, (works out, financially and emotionally stable) and place him in either environment the amount of women, etc is virtually the same.

The only variable which matters is the man, and his skill set, and possibly his standards.

You could be slaying everyday, yet not every woman would be a 10, etc...

Why not both? Try finding a major city with college campuses in, or near, its center.

Umm both.

Pick a "major" city that also has several state schools.

Using personal examples. While I know Columbus is a great place to go out to college bars and pick up a same-night lay with 800,000 residents in the city... I also acknowledge that I've met many more women in Cleveland than I would have in Columbus, just as a result of the population being literally 1 million more people in the "combined statistical area" (2.5 million vs 3.5 million)

City definitely. I've spent the past year living by a very popular college. If you're not in school it's almost impossible to break into the social circles where you'll meet the type of women you want.

In a city people are forced to make their own social circles (ex. Work, gym, cooking classes, etc.) It's much easier to break into that world because everyone is in the same boat.
