Worst kind of deception. She was obviously the trophy wife with a 20 year age gap, but WOW to deliberately not mention this affliction means she has put him at risk and caused harm. That is criminal behaviour

I apologise to everyone here in advance because what I say here will come out as offensive: Out of sudden anger, I couldn't help but think of her dying from Covid as a quick form of rescue for the guy. Who am I to judge another human being, yet this had me raging mad. I'm 41 and single. I had been bipolar for 15 years in my past, that is until the age of 30 when the illness lost its grip on me. Nonetheless, I always informed my girlfriends in advance about my troubling past, in case they thought I was into fooling them in the long run. She had no right to do that. Still, you can't expect a good outcome out of an evil person with a sinister plan. So sad.

I had completely misread the situation here, so I'm posting in case other people did too.

She was diagnosed in 2006. They married in 2007. In 2011 this article was written stating that she was in her 30's, he in his 50's and they were filing for divorce. The man sought a nullification of the marriage 4 years after the wedding.

I had originally read it as this was a story from this or last year -- that he was seeking nullification from a wedding almost 15 years ago. Not the case.

No, actually this is a very sad occurrence and it happens more often than you think! Legally people do not have to disclose STDS even the life threatening ones. I think that is beyond immoral.

Sexist pigs in wigs stike again. It's OK for a women to lie and deceive in order to marry a man. If the sexes had been reversed I certain these sexist pigs would have decided in favour of the wife. Family Court of Australia hates men, and treats men as subhuman beasts of burden.

This is a strange situation, she hadn't been proven to commit a crime (eg criminal transmission of HIV) as it was not necessary for her to testify that the marriage was consumated by her.
