It’s not mutilation. It’s not remotely the same. One, you’re removing excess skin, the other, you’re actually mutilating the organ. Are some of them too tight? Yes. Should young men have the choice? These are questions, but it’s not mutilation if done correctly.
Except it’s not. Mutilation is when you actually damage the body. It is protective excess skin with slightly more nerves. You can argue that perhaps they shouldn’t do it without consent. But comparing it to FGM is simply ridiculous.
If you guys were a serious movement, which you aren’t, you would advocate for better standards and training. Instead you have a faintly psychopathic air about you.
Just to clear some stuff up, my "objection" was less of an objection and more to point out the consent issues, which we now agree on. I should've also noted that neonatal circumcision has barely any benefits and detrimental while skin removal surgery is an entirely different subject on its own, with entirely different pros and cons. I'll admit my mistake there, as I probably caused some confusion. So with that out of the way, I will ask again: Why do you think circumcision is not mutilation?
