You seem to be implying that men aren't working? The issue today is that women can work any job they like, but they also have the option of invoking traditionalism and being supported by a man. Men have no such option; in the vast majority of cases, there is a requirement to work and a social expectation to be the breadwinner. Even educated and well-paid women generally expect a partner that makes more than them. In short, women have been liberated from their traditional roles, but men have not.
