Literally just do what your brain tells you to and don't ignore it. Hug her when you first see her. Sit down on the bench and put your arm around her, go to your place after for a movie after, escalate there. If you see an opportunity for a kiss at any point just go for it.

First off, I know it's hard, but you need to relax. You are overthinking this and worrying about too many small details. Think about the IDEA behind the advice you get so if 1 thing doesn't pan out, you can improvise on the fly.

Example: You want to put your arm around her at the show but the armrest for the chairs between you makes that awkward and uncomfortable. Now what?

Anyways, for your questions: 1) Your texts were fine. Stop worrying about them.

2) You haven't kissed her yet. So when you see her, hug her, put one arm around her waist so your hand is halfway on top of her ass and half on her lower back. Pull her body tight against you. Hopefully you lift and are somewhat strong. She will notice this. It's also mildly sexual so a good way to get the ball rolling.

While watching the show, put your hand on her upper leg. Just above the knee until you get tired of sitting that way, then take your hand back and sit by yourself for a while, then next time put your hand higher up. Move it around slowly to feel her thigh. If she pushes it away, smile, chuckle, then pinch her playfully on the inner thigh and take your hand away.
