Ask them:

Do you think everyone has fundamental human rights?

then

Do we need to protect people's human rights?

then

Would you agree that, in principle, we should protect men's rights?

If they say men's rights are already protected. Then they have agreed with you, but ask them, "Do you think if men's human rights were being violated people should be advocating to stop the violation?"

Remember, this is an argument about principles, don't let them start talking about specific issues, or the why we should focus on one group or another. That is a discussion about how to protect peoples rights, not whether we should protect them.

Hopefully they will grudgingly agree that we should protect men's rights.

Without knowing your parents, I'd say you should first try to just get them to where they're not emotionally attached to their position. If you can get them that far, that would be pretty good. They've spent a long time developing an emotional attachment to a position that makes them think they're good people. All you can do is show them that they can be good people if they keep an open mind. So just bring up neutral points that aren't connected to men's rights.
For example, you can ask them, you believe in fairness right? Then when they say they do, you can just go, "okay" and leave it at that. Or maybe ask them if they believe that people should have a fair hearing before they get expelled from a college. Things like that won't make them directly confront their very liberal beliefs and so they might be more receptive to listening to you further down the line.

They're getting emotional validation from their views. Getting them on board with MRM by rational argument might be too much of a step for them to take all at once.

Easy. Just talk about men's rights without mentioning feminism. Start with obvious shit like the all-male military draft and the lifespan gap.

Maybe just bring up men's rights issues without directly bringing up the MRM. Just mentioning the term MRM can cause people to have negative knee-jerk reactions.

I've been subtly bringing up men's rights issues such as custody and alimony to my somewhat feminist mother and she agrees with the MRM on these issues.

I don't know your parents personally, but them being older they probably have seen most gender progress being championed by feminists. I can't exactly say it was MRA's who brought about the changes of the 20th century.

Anyway, it's important to clarify your beliefs with your parents briefly so that they don't think you're a bumpkin and make wrong assumptions about you.

Tell them about what makes MRAs different from other reactionaries. Bring up concrete failures and prejudices in feminist rhetoric that had and continue to have ongoing effects.

*Women's rights activists in India (and other countries) lobby against the definition of rape being made gender neutral (in terms of the perpetrator) *Mary P. Koss deliberately changed the categorization of rape in one of her studies to exclude made to penetrate victims, which had the effect of drastically reducing the number of male victims of rape. Watch this.

Good luck, any time I have done that I always bring facts and evidence to the conversation, this is quickly derailed by them shouting, yelling, name calling, and crying, because the entire feminist ideology isn’t based on logic and facts it’s based off of emotion
