You seem to be confused about quantity vs. quality of violence:

Quantity: yes, men are responsible for more violence overall, as you say.
Quality: women can inflict just as much damage on men as men can inflict on women. Harmful violence is not limited to the physical realm: mental / emotional violence can be fatal to men and women alike.

AFAIC it is about holding individual victims and perpetrators in equal regards. Premising on the individual should always be the default position, without prejudice on their collective identity.

It's a small minority of men who are violent. And many of them are forced into it against their will via conscription and similar mechanisms.

Men are stronger and tougher than women, so they generally are better at achieving physical results with violence. That doesn't mean they resort to it more often.

Women are better at getting away with violence. Which is I think women actually resort to violence more often than men. Never forget that the vast majority of violence against children is committed by women, up to and including infanticide. The hot flat iron, wooden spoon and la chancla are memes that should give you an idea of how common violent women are.

And even on the highest levels of politics, it was shown that women rulers were in up to 30% more wars in European history. And there is no lack of women rulers that have earned nicknames like "Bloody Mary" or "Blood Countess".

To put it more bluntly: Yes, men probably fight more. But a fight means there is at least some kind of open outcome, there is a risk for both involved. Women just inflict pain and injury on those that are vulnerable.

for most of human history if you wanted someone dead..you needed to do it using brute muscle strength. An area where men had a vast amount more capability. Therefore throughout history most men were going to be the ones doing it due to biological capability.

For most of human history society was patriarchal and women were kept out of the reigns of power. So throughout history most men were going to be the ones ordering it due to social capability.

Opportunity and ability are not the same thing as inclination. Don't confuse the two.

A cursory look at the modern world where women are not constrained by the need for brute strength nor held back from the reigns of power by patriarchy should disabuse you of the idea that women lack the inclination.
