If you are 20 years old, at an Ivy league college, in a male dominated major, are fit, and takes steps to make yourself attractive to the opposite sex, you shouldn't have much of a problem.

Re assess your situation and see if you have not correctly identified aspects about your situation.

Flirting does not matter that much to men. Being physically attractive trumps all.

Marathon training doesn't equate to being very physically fit. You have good endurance at best, but overall fitness is about strength and endurance. Men don't exactly give a sh** what type of training you do, but they do care about the way your body looks. Marathon training isn't going to build lean muscle mass which is what creates a conditioned shape when you are lean(low bf%). If you look at examples you will see mostly marathon trainers as very, very slim with very little lean muscle mass, or as everyone in the world calls it "tone." Some men like this, but in my personal and professional experience men would prefer feminine features stand out.

You may think you're an 8/10, but that's not even really up to you in the final decision. Your rating is up to the men, not you or other women.

Being in a male dominated field can either lead to you meeting more men and qualifying for more potential dates or meeting more men and them looking at you as someone who is not their ideal option. It really depends on how you carry yourself and present yourself in those settings. If you aren't feminine enough then you're not going to stand out in a sea of higher value men, period. If you speak as if you know everything and they should listen to you then you will not and should not be given any time of day. Know your place.

Yeah, your SO broke it off because he was moving away. Very logical, but were there any other reasons? What did you do for him to add value to his life during the two year relationship? How are your feminine skills?(cooking, keeping a nice space, hygiene, etc). Work on increasing your range of skill sets (baking, sew, knitting, lifting, nutrition control, whatever is going to always be an ASSET). How did you get your exes attention if you're not good with flirting? What are the other thins you can bring to the table for a man? Also, if you plan on being a career women you will probably need to rethink everything. An RP man does not appreciate a women who is only career oriented. He and the household should come before any and everything else.

I don't think specifically looking for someone while having a time-frame in which to find them is the best idea. That's like going to a car dealership in a hurry and picking out the first automobile that looks decent enough. I don't see the rush.

It sounds like you'll be surrounded by men who have your age and ambition in common, but don't lock yourself in to rebounding (even rebounding smart) just for the sake of finding a fellow student for a LTR. I panicked when I finished college without a single relationship, and then met my older, smarter, amazing husband after moving across the country 6 months after I graduated. Keep taking care of yourself, but focus on finishing college well and maintaing good relationships with your friends and family.
