so for contacts this isn't a domestic dispute since we're not dating or anything. This is somebody who I only know of thruu a friend and I wouldn't call us anything more than vague acquaintances

apparently she has issues and I'm not the first person that she is had issues with. think of a white trash crazy Ex-Girlfriend idea of how she iss

only without the ex-girlfriend part. and I see her now and then because the people I know some of them know her and we sometimes end up at the same events..

anyway she violently attacked me and then tripped me on the ground scraping me up so there was blood.

there were people around and I didn't want to hit her back so instead I called the police full arrived while she was still there and they could clearly see what happened and there were witnesses everywhere and not only did they not interview any witnesses but they didn't even attempt to even detain her for any amount of time. They basically let her walk away and go home they didn't even look at her..

I told him I specifically wanted to press charges for assault and because it was clear that she would probably attack me if she saw me again I asked them about filing a restraining order..

not only did they refuse to press charges but they were even reluctant about filing a report. and tried to give me the runaround about filing a restraining order. I'm going to try to pursue that but I'm not really sure how I would love help..

it's very blatantly clear that the reason the police didn't take this attack seriously was because it was a female attacking a male and if they absolutely would have taken it far more seriously and probably place someone in handcuffs if it had been a Man attacking a woman.

even more context we are about the same size and weight. it's not like this was some tiny for 5 foot 2 woman attacking a six foot two 250 pounds man. same size and weight..

so you can't even use that excuse. I guarantee you though if it had been the other way around they would have taken it very seriously but it's very clear that they didn't take it seriously or even want to do anything because it was a woman attacking a man..

unfortunately I can't really prove that because that's not specifically what they said. So I'm hoping that somebody here might be able to help? Give me some tips on what I can do to avoid this. maybe tips on how to press charges or at least file some kind of restraining order? she clearly has issues and a tendency towards violence I'm worried that it could happen again..
