I swear I'm seeing a trend on reddit now where people seem to be calling this shit out more and more it's actually really heartening to see. I wonder if this has anything to do with the fact that people are getting fed up of all this virtue signalling bullshit with BLM and the like. Even on threads that get highly upvoted there are people drowning out the usual feminist brigaders and I couldn't be happier, can anyone confirm if this is happening on other subs?

it's been conditioned that way since we're young.

It's partially because of historical oppression of women that women were given preferential treatment in social situations because they lacked objective rights/status in society.... now that women have equal rights & status in society it has become unequal because those social norms have bled through the generations. Those have not been changed as the law/political landscape has.
