I don't think she intended it to portray men as rapists, but I could be wrong. It looks like she's genuinely trying to hold the woman to the same standard she would a man, as she said, but I also don't see the point in mentioning that most of them are men. Weird way to put it.

I see it as a win for us and wouldn’t read too much beyond. First she is stating this female should be treated like a man. Duh, glad she came to that genius conclusion. And, more importantly, that women can be rapists too. That needs to be put out their more. Not because we need blame shifting but because we need reality. Women can be sexual predators and that reality sobers up the extremist narrative, it blunts if not annihilates the hapless victim role women are cast in in some feminist thought.

Actually...i believe when it comes to 'preying on da youth' its quite equal. I'm not going to say men aren't the majority that prey on women, because that makes sense, just as i would expect the majority to prey on men to be women.

I have no idea why someone committing statutory rape elicits the response of 'wanting to protect them'. That just seems really odd to me, i know theres a whole thing surrounding that, where for some reason its not seen as wrong, the media headlines, movies and all that certainly aid that mentality. But still, don't defend predators, if thats your instinct, your instinct is wrong.

I do find it kinda weird that she mentions, majority of people who prey upon women and youth are men. But this is different from saying "all men are rapists", or even "most men are rapists". Research shows that most sexual perpetraters, even with more incluse definitions of rape, are men. Please show me a research that states otherwise, I haven't seen it yet.

So yes, I do think most sexual perpetraters are men, I don't think most men are sexual perpetraters.
