She filed a case on him for not wanting to marry her, child marriage is just wrong.

Okay, glad they got it right in the end. I wish they didn't first arrest the 14 year old and throw him in jail. Imagine getting raped, and then your rapist tries to blackmail you into a child marriage, and when you refuse then the rapist is able to back up the blackmail by having you arrested on the charge of rape.

This story could have easily had a very bad ending.

I mean sure they charge her. Wait until she gets some suspended 2 year sentence and is out on parole in a year. While a man would serve 10 years of hard time or more for the same exact crime.

I wish it was more common. It pisses me off that women get some what immunity to the law. I think it’s way past time to start doing punish the guilty women the same way as a guy would.

how is this rare? a lot of women caught doing this are “booked”... probably most if not all... the problem is the court will just give them a slap on the wrist and let them go. but thats the trial... not the “booking”.
