I just heard this in an unrelated video on youtube and it made me think a little. Here's my take on it:

  • The head is in charge and makes decisions and so on
  • The neck is supportive and turns to where it's needed
  • A head without a neck isn't quite right as it could be, but it does most things just fine: men who stay single don't enjoy some of the perks of being married but they go on with everything else
  • A neck without a head is just a stump. It can do all its twisting and turning just fine, but it's just not doing much other than wobble (like a post wall giant squid of anger, flailing its squid-y arms)
  • Together they are the best team ever, helping each other out and so on, better than any of them alone could ever be

I just thought this analogy was pretty funny so I figured I'd share and hear your two cents on this theory
