As for the clit and sewing, those are different ones. The former is the more common, the latter, VERY uncommon, even where its practiced, fortunately(except for one particular country which is a travesty of human rights overall). As I've pointed out to someone, removing the clitoris does not mean a woman can feel no pleasure from sex, I'd have to look it up again, but i think it was 20% of women NEVER have vaginal orgasms. Both result in lesser experiences, carry risks of infection, death and general badness. Removing the foreskin is not hygienic, in fact probably hurting the man rather than helping, because the penis is LESS protected.

They are comparable, fgm does have more extreme versions, but circumcision is MUCH more common, the negatives for the most part, are the same, the reasoning behind the procedures, the same, the risks, the same.

My brother had an issue at 16 years old and it was fixed by circumcision.

16 year-olds can articulate, and he had a lot to say about how much it hurt, during his TWO WEEKS off of school. He couldn't even sit for the first few days, he was bedridden.

We can't know a woman's pain. This is true.

They also can't know ours, but they act like they do.

Not gonna lie, they show a circumcision on Red Pill (great doco, highly recommended) and it is uncomfortable. The sound on the baby in agony is piecing. Also "hygienic"? It's not that more effort in the shower. And of consent is as big deal as feminists claim, they'll leave their sons alone until they're old enough to make that call themselves

The Pro circumcision crowd always immediately tries to bluff you into believing FGM is always the most radical form of mutilation, rather than admitting that a single pin prick is still called FGM, and that the worst kinds are the most rare.

Male circumcision IS genital mutilation by the WHO definition of FGM, it's both Type I and Type IV mutilation. The two are comparable, because that's the definition of the term.

People making this argument always compare the most severe forms of fgm as preformed in third world countries to the most "professional" routine circumsition in the west. They ignore that there are forms of fgm that don't even leave a scar, like what's called a ritual nick and is preformed with a single poke of a needle to the vaginas other lips, just deep enough to bring out a single drop of blood. Now you could compare this not very severe procedure to cases of forced mgm in Africa, where circumiscions are preformed on boys with glass shards on the streets by a angry mob.
