My bad, I will try to be a more participating member of this sub instead of just reading.
Feminism itself isn't bad. The idea behind it doesn't only represent and support female but those who are oppressed (at least that's what one of my uni Prof described). It's just the people who claim to be a feminist being total assholes.
Although, ironically, the profile of the Instagram was feminist instead of feminism lmao
Edit: just came up with a bad metaphor while taking a shit. It's something like communism and communist. The communist regimes aren't doing very well to the people. But does that mean communism is evil? No, I don't think Marx came up with an idea meaning to harming people. However, it's those dictators tryna fuck up the commons. Should we condemn the ideaology or Stalin and Mao?

In this scenario, these people are not true feminists. They fail to practice what they claim to identify with — feminism was and SHOULD be about equality/equity, not about one-upping the other. Those people are extremists and are the reason why the name feminism has a bad rep to it.

Tbf they aren't the feminists I'm concerned with. More everyday people that took a class once in college types.
The interesting be part is they start of preaching equality and as you did into the details, and how to achieve equality and where the movements focus is etc etc They eventually devolved into admitting, that yes the would support the removal of men's rights. Blew need away every time lol
