Time spent with him makes you unavailable (in the short term) and unattractive (in the long term) to the class of men who WILL treat you like the girlfriend you want to be. Stop giving him affection without commitment in return, the problem will sort itself rather briskly.

Sounds like a lounge lizard to me. He certainly has no game. He might have just enough to get you to fuck him though. You say he sleeps around, is that something that he told you? You are overthinking. You can only control your actions. Your actions aren't going to change his entire personality. If you were enough for him to change his ways, it would already be happening and he wouldn't just be pressuring you for sex. He doesn't see you as LTR material.

Let's look at what you are doing and not what you are saying.

You say you want commitment, but you can it from a guy who isn't offering it.

Let's stop walking in a river in Egypt. Having sex with him isn't going to get him to commit, he probably doesn't actually sleep around because he wouldn't be so open about game if he was successful.

Even if he does go solo with you after sex, you aren't happy about it cause he gave it up as easily as you have up the sex.

This is where the carousel riding and non acceptance of your actions starts.

Literally only want sex, not relationships, and want to get sex by spending as little of their own time and money on any woman in particular in order to get sex.

You:

Are a virgin (who is presumably young, and not ugly) with a high SMV (I assume youth also because of this question, BTW) , who is interested only in time and material investment from a man and not sex without emotional commitment.

Him spending time and money on you without getting sex and then moving on would be a waste from his perspective.

You trading up sex/promising it (and likely having to give it up) in order to get time and money out of him would be the single biggest irreversible hit to your SMV you could author.

I have a very similar situation. It's just that I discovered that he's a PUA because he blatantly posts videos of him saying he is one and even blog posts from 6 years ago! Yet when i passive-aggressively ask him about it, he downright lies to me! As expected! I also want a commitment and an emotional connection. I'm smart enough to walk away but it's difficult. He's PUA tactics really worked on me. We're on the same boat with the virginity too. I don't understand why he's still sticking around. Is it because he hasn't f-closed on me yet?
