Men don't end relationships because they don't need to, they just get a new woman and the old one "gets the message"

If you read the article, it claims that women support men emotionally more in their relationships than the reverse. Men generally have less close friends than women and report more often that their partner is their only emotional support. Women have usually more close friends for emotional support, hence they have less to lose when a breakup occurs.

If you read feminist sources, then you would find that they want men to be more emotionally competent (or ”not suppressing themselves emotionally” in femspeak) so that they do have more close friends and aren’t as dependent on their partners. That would help closing the ”dumper” gap.

As with marriage, this disparity in power is enhanced by alimony laws and such, making a breakup even less desirable for men.

Okay this might get me downvoted because I do know what subreddit I'm on but: The problem isn't feminism because men and women have different areas where they are being treated poorly and saying things like feminism is the reason more women brake up with men the vis versa is simplifying the problem so much that I can't help anything the biggest reason women brake up with men more is in how dating works in the world the idea that its treated as a cat and mouse game with the women as the mouse

It's called the Female choice system. If a woman decides a mate isn't up to her standards, she will dump them and look for a better candidate. It's hard-wired into our biology, and the idea that women shouldn't be able to dump men is blatant sexism. Women spend much more of their own resources on making, carrying and raising a child than men from a biological point of view, and as such are compelled to find the very best candidate.
