If women want to wear clothing with pockets they can always wear 'male' clothes. Fashion is a social construct after all, so all it takes for clothes to be considered 'gender-neutral' is enough people of both sexes wearing them.

I remember having pants with pockets so big I could fit a 7x7 5x5 and 3x3 Rubik’s Cubes in them. In one pocket. They were good pants

I prefer pants with a button-down fly.

I usually don't wear them because they are hard to find. I think it is because most men prefer zippers.

I mean, there is no rule saying I cannot buy the few that are out there. I do, usually on eBay.

Why don't women do this with pockets?

Or why not start their own brand with pockets, if there is such a huge untapped demand for them?

I think you will fond that many women want to wear pants without pockets (because it is more form-flattering), but still want to complain AFTER BUYING PANTS WITHOUT POCKETS that their pants don't have pockets. Smh

You would think that with how many handouts and glowing reviews female led businesses have, some enterprising woman would’ve made a line of garments with pockets and swept the world through social media marketing.

But alas, the bitter truth of the world is that there doesn’t seem to be a sustainable market. More women prefer the versatility of a purse to clothes with pockets.

As ever, feminists are confused about how reality works and have blamed men for their ineptitude.

Weren't feminists designing products for their own purpose sourced from sweatshops in Bangladesh, Vietnam, etc. ? Can't they produce something the way they prefer and market it ? Or can't they force some law a usual, just like gender quotas, etc. that women's pants too should have pockets? Why are they standing for such a cause than fighting for free tampons ?

Pockets...? There's more pressing issues in women's clothing than pockets. Where Men's pants have two sizes for length and width in inches along with different fits. Women have pants sizes which are arbitrary, one single number or letter combo which have no real life correlation and things like plus size, which makes women feel warm and fuzzy to pick out those clothes. Any manufacturer can put whatever number/size on whatever they want without regard to a standardized system, which causes women to lose time and become incredibly frustrated with purchasing clothes, and causes them grief when a manufacturer sizes everything small causing the women to feel fatter.

But sure, fuck yeah pockets. That's where feminism needs to put their focus, not on making clothes that fit women and waste time trying on racks of clothes.

This is the perfect example of modern feminism: blaming men for a non issue women created and propagate entirely on their own.

"I want pockets!"

So buy some clothes with pockets.

"There aren't any for women!"

I just did a quick Google search and I found plenty of affordable examples of women's shorts with pockets

"But those are ugly!"

Why?

"Because they have pockets!"
