My parents divorced when I was young, dad was abusive, mom was a narcissist and I didn't have extended family or positive role models for that matter growing up to know what a healthy family looks like (despite being a military brat.) I got into controlling relationships/had a lot of uncommitted sexual partners early on with sketchy characters because I was naive and thought it would make me happy. It's been rough, but RPW has helped me understand how healthy, non-controlling men think, act and choose their mates. And I feel like I actually have hope for finding a healthy, loving relationship now. But I still don't feel the hate for feminists that I've seen in this thread and I was wondering why there is so much hate. I don't agree with everything in feminism or everything in the red pill, but feminism DID boost my self confidence and helped me find feelings of self worth so I could get out of the cycle of abusive partners and casual sex. Feminism (mostly second wave ) even helped save me from suicide and opened the doors for me to WANT to learn how to value myself and other women for more than just their looks by working on my character, my education, my health and mental fortitude and even taught me how to stand up for myself. Without it I would of not felt it was possjble. I was hoping to meet some RPW who value aspects of the red pill and aspects of feminism to see what we have in common and discuss our experiences. Thanks :)!
