Honestly? Props to that kid for being able to take that kind of abuse and not use violence in return. However, it seems to me like she taught him to absorb it rather than stand up for himself verbally and respectfully, move on and pick himself up from that kind of bullying. Who knows how this can come back to bite him in the ass mentally, and his mother needs to be prepared to support and help him, and not think about how his depression will lead him to beat a woman (or anyone) or pre-emptively accuse and send him into a panic over his state of mental health.
