I am quite familiar with Elizabeth Holmes and her crimes, but the way you're attempting to frame this article is ridiculous. Yes, they used the term "allegedly," yes media often conveniently "forgets" to use that word when referring to conservatives and people accused of sexual assault, but it is technically the correct way to refer to a crime that has not yet been prosecuted. And ffs, if you're gonna paste that sentence, paste the whole thing:
In between making court appearances for allegedly defrauding investors out of millions of dollars with a defective blood-testing device, Elizabeth Holmes is reportedly also planning her wedding to fiancé, Billy Evans.
This is the lead sentence of the article, clearly meant to be read as a bit of sarcasm. The article goes on to point out that her wedding was reported by the NY Post, with a very "and somehow this is considered news" tone, capping off almost every paragraph with a reminder of the fact that she's a psychopath scammer and her fiancee is doing something stupid.

Do you have any clue, at all, how to interpret tone in writing?
