Yeah that sub is horrible. They're so unwilling to even consider the possibility of their precious "patriarchy" conspiracy theory being untrue that they feel the need to ban anyone who poses any sort of challenge to it. So caught up in their little bubble and so sure that what they believe is right that they can't even discuss it rationally with someone who disagrees.

Well, feminism hurts women too. Pushing woman in undesirable career, to raise kids alone in poverty without support of the father and destroying safe family environments hurt them too. True happiness never really comes to feminist. Always trying to hurt other to revenge of their own bad decisions. That frustration make them that they always see the grass greener on the other side...

If you aren't banned in /r/Feminism, then you are doing something wrong...

They ban anyone and everyone who even slightly challenges their views. If you are perfectly reasonable, perfectly polite, and as a question that doesn't 100% conform to their view, they would ban you. Not only that, if you are banned on /r/Feminism you are also auto banned on other feminist subs...

I used to be really annoyed by this at first. However, now I'm more relaxed about this...

I was also banned from /r/TwoXChromosomes. I was really annoyed by this. I mean I wasn't doing anything wrong, and they tell me that I'm a sexist because I asked a question.

Later I thought about it... If their community wants to circlejerk and hear only a certain type of views. It's their choice. Even though I was polite and courteous I did go there to confront their views, because some of them annoy me. If they don't want to hear it. That's their choice. Members of their subs who want to hear other views can come here or other places.

My thoughts on feminists communities depends on my mood.

Most of the time, I try to look at it as some kind of big joke and laugh a lot. But sometimes I almost feel like crying. And sometimes I see almost reasonable posts / article / whatever, and I think that probably they aren't all crazy.

...Of course I'm exaggerating. Somewhat.
