This seems to happen far too often and the logic behind it is always totally insane.

'My husband did something, better hurt/kill my child' or in this case 'i think my husband did something.'

By her own account she was super paranoid, injected herself with ten times a normal dose on insulin and confessed. She should get jail time(for first degree murder) and get mental help, because holy shit, this is not acceptable.

I used to have a problem with posts of specific examples rather than overall statistics regarding discrepancies in arrests and sentencing, but the problem is so egregious that we know the specific examples aren't meant to make the argument by themselves. I prefer to get to the truth rather than stir up emotions. So do women commit filicide more often than men? Wikipedia is unclear, but the first 2 references are "women offenders" and "child murder by mothers". I'll start reading those. If anyone else has info then please chime in.
