It’s about control. They use it to remind us #1 that we want it, and #2 that we need to gain their favor to “earn” it. As if we should cave to their every need because they are giving us our “need”. By presenting it as a reward, it creates a feedback loop of control.

Imagine if we presented emotional support as something we reward them with. Oh you haven’t done this for me yet? You haven’t earned “emotional support” from me yet. That would make women think they have to work hard to get that, normalizing with holding it to remain in control.

It's manipulation. They want us to feel that they are worth more than us. They want us to have a low self esteem so we'll be easy to manipulate. Not to mention that all they have is sex so they want to be able to get as much as possible for it.

Because men pander to women to make them feel more important than they are, so they feel special. Also I think it's because men know a woman will just leave for another man and it's tough to deal with that on the spot.

Fenale sexuality is a rarer commodity. Most men are sluts let's be real about it, but also because men do not pay the same price for being sexually active speaking from a biological standpoint. Also it seems to me like women are not as horny as men so sex is often a thing a woman gives.
