Anyone reading this who's currently in school, and is experiencing gendered abuse by your teachers, you should document and detail every incident - any parents reading this who are worried for their boys should establish open communication about how they're being treated by teachers, documenting and detailing every incident. That record of incidents should be preserved indefinitely - you might need it in court years into the future, if you have a case for psychiatric harm by the hands of an educator.

These kinds of unfounded, ideologically driven lectures are effectively a form of human experimentation - they're trying to "cure toxic masculinity," without properly defining any of their terms. An entire generation of young boys are being used as test subjects in these gender experiments.

It feels really bad when you put a lot of effort into something and that isn’t appreciated. It’s also frustrating to be graded on something that is completely subjective and by someone who doesn’t seem to like you. It isn’t fair, but it’s great practice for life because you’re going to experience these same challenges as an adult.

The good news - it doesn’t have to feel so bad.

Avoid comparing yourself to others... that’s almost guaranteed to leave you feeling like shit when really you have a lot of value and that isn’t dependent on someone else. Also, work on accepting that life isn’t fair - I know, this one is really hard for some of us - and just do your best because that gives you pride. Last, be good at failure... I don’t mean that you shouldn’t try hard - what I mean is that the most successful people are the ones who see failure as an opportunity to learn. They are extremely persistent and understand that ‘perfect’ isn’t nearly as helpful as ‘persistent’.

I don’t know if this teacher has it out for the guys or not... she’s a flawed human, working in a tough field that has a high rate of burnout. Maybe her personal life is shit and it’s all she can do to show up. Who knows. If the situation is seriously impacting your grades, talk to your parents or guidance counselor about it. Otherwise just see her as human and do your best, knowing this isn’t going to last forever.

A 7 and a 5 isn't really that bad. Your drawing simply isn't that great - yes it has some shadow and stroke outline but the sizing, width, depth of the letters is all over the place.

First off yours is incomplete, not even the letter F. The E & R are switched and I & T are not capitalized.

I'd give it a 2.
