Up to 10% of babies can survive outside the womb at 22 weeks. By 24 weeks 50% survive.

I already did prove it. The fact that many states impose no restrictions on abortion past 22 weeks means some have taken place. In the context of murder, any number would be a signficant portion.

I am not sure why trying to refocus the conversation away from murder and instead are arguing, wrongly I might add, about trivialities.

Are you really in that big of support about murdering innocent children? Or do you think that throwing a fully viable child that is not dependent on the mother into the meat grinder is morally okay? 22 weeks is survivable.

It's perfectly legal in my state to intentionally bash my own genitals with a concrete block in the shape of Mjolnir. Quite literally - fully legal. There is no law against this. To my knowledge, there's no law against this in any state (check your local jurisdiction).

Now prove anyone has done this.

That's not how it is looked at by the law though. It has nothing to do with their DNA. It is based on what is called sentience, and the ability to survive outside of the womb. Meaning, if the baby could survive on its own without medical intervention, you can't abort.

Law doesn't make it right, slavery was perfectly legal for most of human history.

With artificial wombs all babies will be able to survive outside the womb.

Abortion is murder, the baby will survive unless you take action to prevent it i.e. Burning it do death with saline or ripping it limb from limp with a vacuum - two common forms of abortion.

By that argument, I shouldn't be able to clip my nails or masturbate because I'd be killing human cells and DNA.

No, that's an asinine argument based on a lack of understanding about how DNA works. Those DNA cells are not individual human beings - they clearly belong to you as any DNA test will show. DNA tests will also show that the child's cells DO NOT belong to the mother, they are independent living human being.

If you were to to kill all of another persons cells you'd be held for murder, that's what abortion is.

What does make sense, is saying it's ok to clip your fingernails because they aren't sentient/conscious.

Likewise you can kill your own sperm cells so that means I can kill all of your cells right?
DNA identifies a persons body, it's "their body their choice" the baby gets to decide if it's burned to death with saline or torn limb from limb not the murderous woman or the state.

At the point of conception you can look at that baby's DNA and know if they're black/white, disabled, male/female, etc.

Is it wrong for me to see that baby and say "Kill it because it's black"? If we killed all female DNA in the womb would that be acceptable?

Sounds to me you like China's abortion of baby girls, or maybe Hitler's view of aborting all the blacks, gays, and disabled people?

People have human rights, they start at conception because that is when a human being is formed. It's basic genetic science, the ignorance of our laws do not change that.

Okay, now strip away a few layers of skin and apply the salt, how does the salt make you feel?

You also have to factor the amount of salt relative to body mass, again drink some salt water, you feeling okay? Now drink a gallon of salt water, how are you now?

This is a chemical burn, it can also cause brain hemorrhaging or a heart attack.

Given you're a "microbiologist" I'm more than a little concerned about the fact that you don't know how salt works.

Here's another fun practice item for you, take a saline drip and instead of putting it your vein, put it into your flesh, do so at the same volumes relative to an undeveloped baby in the womb and tell me how it affects you (you may want to keep 911 on speed dial....)

Generally speaking, when someone says burn, they mean with heat/fire. Not, with water or with a chemical solition.

It's "Solution" and it's called a chemical burn, you should know what a chemical burn is.

No, baby killers use that to make that determination, in the same way racists used arbitrary genetic structures to decide who was 'inferior'.

If you can't kill anything with human DNA, you can't even get your haircut. So, it's a stupid metric to use in the case of abortion.

Again, this is an argument that is completely ignorant of genetic science. You can cut your hair, your hair shares your DNA, you cannot cut my hair.

If you want to kill your cells by eating tide pods then go ahead, that's your body, your choice. If you try to kill my cells without my permission that's assault and if you kill all of my cells (say by tearing me limb from limb resulting in death and following with cell death, then you have committed murder. i.e. If you come cut off a piece of my hair against my will I will have you charged with assault because you didn't have permission from me to do so. If you want to kill your own cells, cut your own hair then go ahead - a DNA test would easily show that they are part of you.

A quick DNA test will also tell you that the Baby's cells belong to the baby and not the mother, a woman doesn't have 20 toes, 20 fingers, or 2 hearts, and she sure as hell doesn't have 46 pairs of chromosomes.

This is going to come down to opinion unless you really think we're going to solve the abortion debate on reddit this afternoon.

No, you just need to know basic science, I suggest you google "What is a chemical burn" followed by "How does DNA work" and if you want to get REALLY advanced for your level "Why does my hair have my DNA" and "How does DNA identify a person".

P.S. Sentience (or consciousness it's synonym) is a really sick way of saying "You get to live", I hope no one knocks you out and deprives you of your human rights.
