It's interesting how our world has changed. Back in the days, the distribution of status was simple and logical:

Sympathy was given to Victims

Punishment was given to perpetrators

Power was given to those who were meant to bring justice to the perpetrators

Now, it's like this:

Sympathy and power are both given to the victims (supported by the government and society)

Punishment is given to the accused (Yes, simply ACCUSED)

But here's the twist: there are ridiculously sexist and racist rules to identify who's the victim and who's the perpetrator. These rules include 'women can't be perpetrators' and 'men can't be victims.

These rules, although not fully in effect, is slowly taking over the society. And I fear that one day, the world will see these sexist ideals as completely normal.

The Crown Prosecution Service has published its first ever public statement recognising the needs and experiences of male victims of offences including rape, domestic abuse, harassment, stalking and child sexual abuse.

People point out that women "attempt" suicide much more often. I don't believe that. Men succeed in suicide because they actually want to die. Women fail because they want attention.
