So if a male teacher "had sex" with a 14-year-old girl, and "she wanted it", then he should, err, "get off easy"?

The whole point of the age of consent is that it doesn't matter what a child goes along with. Everyone already knows this when it's a 14-year-old girl "willingly" having sex with her male teacher. In that case people would be saying she's a victim raped by a predator. But of course now since the victim is a boy, he's a "willing participant" who "had illicit trysts with" a poor woman with a troubled past

Additionally, it's worth noticing that the boy referred to what the woman did to him as molestation

The illicit trysts were later revealed when another teacher called his home to offer to tutor the teen, prompting his mother to jokingly ask him if the teacher was planning to molest him.

"Anyone could molest you," the teen replied while crying.

Evidently, whether or not he initially agreed, he ultimately did not perceive it as a positive thing. Which is to be expected with statutory rape, or any other harmful thing that might initially seem fun to a child until he's later suffering the consequences
