The word feminism on this sub gets about a 50 instant downvotes. But this article is a pretty well written slam of modern day feminism, even if it subscribes to the feminist view of history.

Entitlement, identity politics, and victimhood narratives are plaguing all of society today. 4th wave feminism is just one of the most egregious examples.

The intelligent, ambitious and productive women got what they wanted out of the movement. They moved on.

What's left are political aspirants looking to gain power and prestige by egging the rabble on.

Believing in equal rights and opportunity for all people doesn't makes someone a feminist in the modern world. It makes them a part of the status quo. Today's feminists like to hide behind that definition to throw tired accusations of misogyny and sexism to anyone who dare question their 'movement'.

It's a shitshow that threatens to unravel everything their predecessors accomplished.

I mean, I do want flexibility. I've never got the point of proud around being fucked over in an employment situation. The problem is when it's only geared towards women.
