First off, I don't support Kavanaugh or Trump, but I do have a problem with what the author is doing here.
When men lose their jobs over an accusation alone, other men worry because it's clear evidence doesn't matter. When men have spoken up about this, instead of responding to the concern over lack of due process, a strawman is created and "me too" supporters act like men are saying rape is OK.
Why is a respectable newspaper publishing crap that doesn't even address the actual concern men have?
I can't talk about the MeToo news honestly in public because I already see people immediately believing any accusations when they have no idea what really happened, and I've seen enough men getting treated like rape apologists for suggesting accusations aren't enough to destroy someone over.
