Some part of me believes it's a possibility that they only kissed.

Long story short: I broke up with my girlfriend of 8 months last night because I found out she hooked up with another guy. I found out by looking through her phone but I lied to her, and told her that one of her girl friends that was there told me. Then I broke it off and told her we were done.

Now she is still trying to win me over and trying to get me to stay with her, but I know after reading TRP that she probably is full of shit.

Here is the actual story:

  1. I cancel a date we're supposed to have on Saturday night and she gets upset. I tell her we'll go tomorrow instead, she agrees.

  2. A few hours later she goes to the bar, gets drunk, texts another guy and he invites her over to make some food. She drives over to his apartment.

  3. I saw on her phone that she texted him how she had a really good time last night and she thanked him for the food.

  4. He sent her a picture of a hickey she gave him that night. She responded that's the first time she's ever done that.

  5. When I confronted her she said that they didn't have sex and they only made out. Of course though I don't want to say I looked through her phone.

Am I this stupid to still want to believe that she's telling the truth, or is it the blue pill in me that wants to believe her lies? I obviously can't tell her that I looked at her phone and tell her what I saw. But is this enough proof to say there is a 99% chance she had sex with him?

Edit: I should I also mention I cheated on her 4 months into the relationship. She found out and eventually forgave me.
