News reports GLOBALLY are literally barely mentioning the man who was nearly naked, nearly unconscious and nearly naked, held by cops in the background...the headlines and stories instead are focusing on the 'poor victim' woman who suffered the obviously more painful crime of being told to 'act like a lady'....

So this post is about two things-Shocking media obsession with female feelings at the expense of reporting male suffering by comparison.

And the notion of finally having a good retort to the common insult men get from feminists of 'man up'. I think a simple reply of 'Act like a lady' would be a great, simple, short volley return. Instead of acting like victims, or snowflakes, or children, or spoilt princesses. 'Act like a lady.'

Apparently the guy was in crisis and an ambulance called. I'm guessing that means he was having some kind of mental breakdown. The reporter thought it would be a great idea to film this guy, nearly naked, cuffed, waiting to be loaded into an ambulance.

The police told her it was a HIPAA violation, but she assumed they were mistreating the man and refused to respect his privacy.

The funny thing is, these people probably want people to take women seriously yet at the same time, expect people to assume women would react overly emotionally if said to "act like a woman", despite the fact men are automatically expected to act like a gentlemen, that it's expected from them. Oh but everyone knows women are oversensitive and shouldn't be told to act in certain ways in case they get offended...

The way "man up" is used against men, the equivalent response may as well just be "housewife up". Same mentality, same gender roles, same toxic ideals.
