According to the woman, her left hand became swollen and she was in severe pain for several months

She must have shaken hands with Bruce Banner and made him angry lol

But she testified that the police report was “grossly inaccurate” and denied telling them she had screamed or shouted as loud as she could when the handshake occurred. She also denied saying she fainted at the scene and an ambulance was called.

The woman further contended that police had no basis to make comments about her possible mental health issues.

I saw a woman on TV yesterday, she was about 70 with a broken arm, she told the doctors at the hospital "I might take some painkillers if it hurts bad" and theres this bitch who claims a handshake is so painful its a violent crime....

Just wondering, how often do you do a left handed hand shake? Most people are right handed and even if not, people tend to instinctively shake with their right hand.

Reminds me of the Monk episode where he notices the "blind" women reached out her left hand for a handshake or something and that's when he knows she's faking being blind.

Anywho, not that this entire thing isn't already a farce, I just found it even more odd that it was her left had that was swollen when most people do right handed hand shakes.

Oops THERE IT IS. She's an absolute idiot. IANAL but If you ever want something like this to work (a violent injuries court case) you need to go immediately to seek medical attention and provide a medical report that supports your argument.

I taught my left handed daughter and right handed son how to do a firm respectable handshake. I’ll even correct other children if I choose to shake their hand. Knowledge of a proper handshake seems trivial, but will get you respect in life.

Now an asshole challenge handshake is something I can’t stand. I wrestled in highschool so my grip is stronger than most, and I could hurt the asshole in kind, but I think it’s a dick move.

I'm not sure about this one. I've squeezed people's hand really hard to the point where they had to crouch down in pain (all in good fun). I can totally see how that would come across if the other person wasn't expecting it or wasn't a willing participant.
