I don't know how Uber driver app works but if the driver has picked up and POB'd (passenger on board) how is the passenger able to cancel in the first place? And surely she will be charged the distance travelled?

This happened to me. I picked up a bunch of chicks at 3am from a house party. These guys were walking them to the car and the guys looked like they were early/mid twenties. They helped the chicks get into the car and I started driving.

They started talking about having sex with the guys at the party, but they sounded really young. I didnt bother checking them out all the way before they got in, but when I took a look while I was driving, all of them were like 13-16 years old dressed like they're mid twenties at a night club. I got really uncomfortable and handed one of them my phone to put on music so I didnt have to listen to them talk about that. They put on some rap that was like "LOLJKIDK AT THE PARTY LOLJKIDK"... those were the only lyrics I remember.

After she put that music on, she said "uh oh... I accidentally cancelled the ride... you're still driving us home right?". Spotify was open, not Lyft, so she had to have clicked the Lyft app and cancelled it. They lived in the fucking boonies and we were in the middle of nowhere. I was super fucking mad, but I didnt say anything and continued driving them home.

I couldn't just kick them out where we were because I didn't want anything to happen to them. It also left me susceptible to them making false claims about me they were petty. What was a $40-50 ride Turned into a $10. I contacted Lyft and they basically told me "too bad so sad" and at that point I quit driving for them and haven't done it since. I would have rather had a violent guy than those chicks because at the snap of their fingers, they could have ruined my life if they got mad at me for kicking them the fuck out.
