Personally I think the solution to this is the solution to most problems that are exacerbated by the insularity of the internet: offline community. People (many of whom will be deeply introverted and socially aversive) need safe connections to other people in real life to desensitize them to their social anxiety. A lot of problems solve themselves from there.

You have a great blog post here. Normally we don't deal with Incel issues on this subreddit, but yours is about rights in general and about gender in general, so I think it is general enough that it works.

This sounds like typical feminist boilerplate. The problem with incels is that they often do work hard for someone else's affection, they're just too unattractive for said work to result in a relationship. After the fifth or so failed try they start to become bitter and in some cases, hateful.

I agree that men aren't owed sex, but it's interesting that feminists seem to believe that women are owed protection and provision. Women have a net drain on the tax system; men are shamed if they fail to protect women, which effectively turns every man into an unpaid body guard; men perform all of the dangerous jobs that keep women safe and comfortable etc.

I have no idea what the solution is for the incel problem or if there is one, but I do know it may be more dangerous than we currently realize. Enforced monogamy was all in probability introduced to prevent societies from becoming unglued. See Why pologamy breeds civil war. Feminist societies are not technically polygamous but they result in essentially the same effect: sexual abundance for some men and sexual poverty for a large minority. Sexual free for alls may only work in egalitarian societies (as in eg nomadic hunter-gatherer societies) because hypergamy/polygamy only exists in hierarchal societies.

I think incels would benefit from legalizing and destigmatizing prostitution. MGTOW would probably help as well. What is not going to help is heaping abuse on them, referring to "male sexual entitlement" and other idiotic "strategies" which are really just a form of "mean girl" bullying.

Their deplorable behavior and demeaning attitudes are solely on them. Their hatred, misogyny, and violent acts are not the least bit justified. I can only manage so much sympathy for those who identify as incel, given the recent news surrounding them. With all that being said, I’m going to try and be fair in addressing this problem.

The solution is to stop promoting sex and encouraging it so much. Incels strike me as desperate people needing to get sex; this can stem from the fact that men are defined by what kind of pussy they get, and how many. If we start discouraging men from their everlasting poon quest, tell them to go outside and find something else to do, then we can curb incels entirely.

Some sort of soft or socially enforced monogamy is probably the only workable solution. Thats why every major religion promotes the traditional family, one man for one woman, demonises adultery and so on because its the west way to ensure your society has a future. Hords of young angry men will cause violence and this is whats happening right now.
