There are some authors with the "wrong" political convictions who are being disinvited from some cons after being invited by the con in the first place, after sjw types make unsupported accusations of abuse.

In one case, a NYT bestseller author was accused of serious sexual misconduct at a previous con, before the accusations were refuted by con committee. Cons are the current battleground where disapproved opinions and the people who express them are being silenced.

I went to cons in the 80's and 90's and it was only about fandom.

I went to a con this year and half of all panels were SJW anti-male lectures having nothing to do with fandom. They didn't even hide the misandry.

Not even sure what "Asian lesbians club" has to do with comics, but whatever.

sex separation makes more and more sense. there will always be someone out there wanting to capitalize on a man's mistakes. not possible to make no mistakes. not possible to remove all ambiguity.

I went to a pretty big con in the Eastern US, and there were a couple of SJW artists, panels, etc. I made the mistake of innocently asking one which her favorite game was... I bought a picture she drew of a popular game franchise and thought it was just be a quick friendly question. She assumed I was questioning her gamer cred or something. Some SJW in those circles are like, at war with you. Not to mention there are frequently harassment policies in the vein of Title IX college rules (you know, believing any accusation to make sure the con looks feminist enough). That said, I did not experience any type of accusation. That's just how the culture is in places like that. Very culturally policed by the left. You really have to be careful.
