I'm starting to understand why people like Peterson. That was interesting. Especially when Peterson points about high heels and make-up, which leaves the interviewer completely dumbfounded. When you think about it, those are exactly the reasons why people use heels and wear make-up, but it's so common practise that people have completely forgotten why they do it.

I'm actually surprised this was made public, if this was done by VICE.

When people interview DR. Peterson they seem to forget this guy is highly intelligent and very well educated and more importantly, he is very experienced in the workplace having been a consultant in some very big law firms and has dealt with workplace interactions at the highest level.

This gives him a good broad-based knowledge of interactions at work. I saw a good interview with him where he talked about female lawyers who left the profession and why, it was simply because they didn't want to work 80 hours a week for the next 30 years in the hope of making partner where they would have to work even harder and longer. While this was anecdotal, he had enough examples to be able to form opinions based on this.

Peterson falls into the trap of thinking that sexual harassment is men harassing women. This not what I saw or experienced in the workplace. I saw women sexually harassing me. I saw a gay guy sexually harassing younger men. Peterson is very disappointing sometimes. His way or debating this topic is like giving away your whole lunch and then fighting over a few crumbs that fell on the table. It is painful to watch.
