Don't know if you know this but india also does not recognize female on male rape. They define rape through the act of penetration. Now the death penalty is something I get behind. Rapists should not be allowed to Rome free especially one who would hurt a child. Still there are plenty of false rape accusation to go around no matter the country when it concerns women.

Hard to prove it. Not usually any witnesses. Who would rat out their abuser if they knew it was death penalty? You would have to be filled with hate. No normal person would point the finger knowing it was death penalty.

Less than a week after the Criminal Law ordinance, 2018 - which provides for death penalty for those convicted of raping a girl below 12 years - was promulgated, the Union women and child development ministry is set to move the Cabinet seeking approval for the same punishment for those guilty of sexually abusing young boys of the same age, two senior government officials familiar with the matter said.

It also changed Section 42 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offence Act, a special legislation enacted in 2012 to address sexual offences committed against those below 18 years of age, to say that newly amended IPC section would apply to children below 12 years of age.

Sections 4, 5 and 6 deal with aggravated penetrative sexual assault on children under 18 years, which is currently punishable with up to 10 years in jail, extendable to life imprisonment, under the POCSO Act,.

It looks like another of those feminists helped men or boys, but really didn't thing. Boys were protected despite feminism. It seems the WCD created a law intended and only protecting girls, but because they had to change another law that was gender neutral, it forces them to change their proposal to protect boys as well. In short the law will protect boys despite feminism best efforts to dent them protection.
