I would not advise a man to get married in a western society. Society and the judiciary are totally stacked against you. You are in no way signing up to equal treatment by the law and equal protection from the law. At the moment just do not do it.

Risible is a word that I am not overly familiar with, and a quick google showed that it was synonymous with laughable. Although I think that I am missing a subtly. Any help?

I agree with you. Women don't want equality. That's just a smokescreen they use while they are in the minority position.

As soon as they have a majority position they turn into full scale totalitarians.
