The point about interruptions. I wonder if they controlled for "consecutive number of minutes talking without pause". It is difficult to interrupt someone who is responding in short sentences, and it is difficult to avoid interrupting someone who will continue talking unless there is an interruption.

I've worked with a number of people (both male and female) who will literally go on for 20-30minutes without a pause, making assumptions, drawing conclusions, formulating action plans, assigning tasks, and at then walk away with "any questions send me an email" type farewell. If I don't interrupt/stop them, I'll be stuck unwinding all their bullshit for the rest of the day.

It makes no sense to say that the economically and socially privileged class is the class that:

performs worse in school at every age
is likely likely to attend university
is more likely to be unemployed
is more likely to be homeless
is forced to join the military, or work for below minimum wage, for a period of a year or more
receives more jail time for the same crime. Likewise, it makes no sense that the oppressed class can assault the privileged class with more leniency
receives less healthcare funding despite shorter life expectancy

By any metric, men do not have the economic or social privileges as a whole.

/#39 and #40 slightly concern me because the writer is saying they want to have children with their "girlfriend or wife". I mean, why not both ^{^{^/s}}

Also the porn one is just petty. It's more of a supply demand thing. Men are visual creatures. We appreciate good looks more than women do so there are more good looking females in media. Also advertising often uses attractive women for drawing the attention of men for the same purpose.

On the counter side, I could argue that in many all romantic comedies women are more likely to find men who act as "knights in shining armour" and devote themselves completely to their SO.

A couple points to add:

Number 8: On average, I am taught to fear walking alone after dark in average public spaces much less than my female counterparts are.

This point is strange. Is it a disadvantage for women that people tend to be more concerned with their safety than the safety of men?

The article should have also mentioned that while women are taught to be more afraid, the actual risk to men is higher: they're more likely to be the victims of "street crimes," e.g. mugging or assault.

See the results from the American Time Use Survey. In 2016, women indeed spent 73 more minutes per day on “household activities” and “caring for and helping family members”. On the other hand, men spent 91 more minutes per day on “work and work-related activities”. We might note that men spent 44 more minutes per day on “sports and leisure”, but women spent 28 more minutes per day on “personal care, including sleep”.

In addition to that, IIRC these studies typically define traditionally male activities such as home or yard maintenance as not being housework, so they're about as valid as the rape statistics mentioned earlier that exclude prison rape (guess which sex ends up in prison a lot more?) and forced envelopment. And even if we accept that men do less housework in exchange for doing more paid work, the household tasks they do perform tend to be more physically strenuous, unpleasant, or even dangerous (mowing the lawn, taking out the trash, cleaning the gutters, and of course acting as impromptu security staff if there's a weird noise in the middle of the night).

I've honestly never thought twice about the identities of my coworkers and hiring practices until the feminist nonsense began getting increasingly noisy since around 2010/2009ish. I'm not sure if I was just asleep to it all and just noticed it as I entered the professional world or it started getting nonsensical with policymaking around then.

Since then, I've actually noticed how it almost seems like women are given a handicap in work situations. Every female co-worker I've had, from observation seems more likely to not get punished for calling out/goofing off at work. I've personally been punished at work for some things my female coworkers would get away with daily. All of us were on the same tier of pay/responsibility/job position too.

I can empathize with how some fields might be a bit of a boys club like finance or business.. But even then it's not necessarily "easy" for guys and sometimes their male colleagues can be even more vicious than a bitter wife looking for revenge via divorce.

Seriously the world needs to stop pretending a man's life is easy and we're just handed power (as if that power doesn't come with more headaches).

I don't understand the list these women were trying to make. But that's probably to be expected lol. The first point is that men are more likely to get the job they apply for vs. Female applicants. So, if the wage gap is real (it's been debunked), feminists also say they are paid less then men. So how does this make sense? If women are cheaper to hire than men, wouldn't everybody be hiring men instead of women?

Good effort, but these feminist 'checklists' - like all feminist writing and scholarship (!) - reads like the childish ramblings of a moody 13 year-old girl. So it feels like a wasted effort taking it seriously.
