Don't be a dick, or do, we don't really care since nobody gets banned unless they're going to some serious lengths to harass, spam, or troll. /r/MensRights doesn't believe in censorship for the most part, there is no suppression of opposing views or deleting of critical comments.

You appear to be under some wrong impression, presumably derived from feminists, that the act of advocating civil rights is somehow evil, if you happen to include male people in those who deserve rights.

Is that how you are?

You'd be better served by going on a feminist board and asking them "no judgment" how a man can be a good person, and do they think all men are bad, and if not what kind of man is worthy of respect.

At least one famous feminist has written down her answer and it became something of a cult classic among feminists. I will now quote from it.

The male is completely egocentric, trapped inside himself, incapable of empathizing or identifying with others, or love, friendship, affection of tenderness. He is a completely isolated unit, incapable of rapport with anyone. His responses are entirely visceral, not cerebral; his intelligence is a mere tool in the services of his drives and needs; he is incapable of mental passion, mental interaction; he can't relate to anything other than his own physical sensations. You shouldn't try to win our approval, what we think doesn't matter.

If you're looking for how to not appear as someone who hates men, it's really not hard, I assume you're pretty good at it already.

For a woman to earn my respect all she has to do is be a reasonable person who takes responsibility for her actions. If you want to be a housewife, fine, if you want to be an engineer fine, I don't care, that doesn't impress me, but being responsible for yourself would.

But like I said. My opinion of you couldn't matter less.

Do you think men are oppressed? Do you play in the same oppression olympics as feminists by thinking in the same critical theory/culturally marxist terms as feminists, claiming that men are oppressed and women are privileged/oppressors and that men need safe spaces too rather than wanting to do away with safe spaces?
Do you believe in “social justice“? Is that a responsible approach for a liberal group? Is the MRM necessarily liberal (classically, not talking about neoliberalism or neoprogressivism)?
Do you think women are oppressed?
What progress has men’s rights made legally?
Is the MRM growing?
Is the MRM suffering more and more from speciation/sectarianism due to philosophical schisms, much like what happened to feminism?

What are criticisms you get from nonfeminists?

Are MRAs generally concerned about the drug war and how it disparages men and minorities extremely disproportionately? I say that is a major problem that is driven by society’s apathy and fear towards men (and minorities), that it is the largest problem that men face, and that it is related to a lager problem of general public fears, authoritarianism, traditionalism, social engineering, corporate control of politics, and anti-liberalism. That’s my opinion, but how does the MRM see the drug war? Does it want to legally combat it on grounds of discrimination?
Are there really worse issues for men than that?
Where are name-the-father laws active? I know they are the law of the land in Canada, but in what US states, European countries, and elsewhere, do they exist? (I’m referring to laws that allow women to arbitrarily select a father for her child by writing his name on a document after giving birth, requiring him to pay alimony with no legal way out of it.) Do all places with name the father laws have no way out for the father? Do any of them have ways that they will honor genetic proof that the father is not the father?
I’m sure it’s similar to my own, but what’s you response to when feminists make claims about ‘toxic masculinity‘ and men’s problems being results of ‘patriarchy’? Do feminists try to tell you to stop blaming them for men’s issues when all you’ve done is describe them to feminists rather than blamed them for it? Do you blame feminists for men’s issues? Which ones, and in what way?
This is related to my first question. I’m of the opinion that critical theory and all the social (justice) theories based on it are pseudoscientific. Does the MRM have an interest in becoming part of university curriculum along side feminism? Does it want the pseudosciences out of universities? Do they see it as pseudoscience?
Does the MRM do support groups, help lines, etc?
Is body positivism an MRM concern? Are MRAs concerned about how men are portrayed in the media? Are they okay with men being portrayed however producers/writers want? Is it a problem that needs to be fixed that men are seen as disposable people to be slaughtered in masses in movies and games? What does the MRM prescribe for solving that issue, if it is seen as an issue? Less violent TV? Or including more women on the giving ends and receiving ends of violence on TV?
IS the MRM even an equality movement?
Do MRAs concern themselves with women’s issues? Or is the MRM exclusively for men and women concerned about men’s issues? Where do transmen and transwomen fit into the movement? Is there much association with the LGBT movement? Is there hostility from the sjw variations of the LGBT movement the same way as there is hostility from feminism?
Has the MRM made allies in the feminist community? Is that ill advised in your opinion?
Do you worry that the MRM and feminist movement may lead to problems for liberals who are against social justice, against feminism, cultural marxism, critical theory, and the university problems with illiberalism? Is there any concern that feminist alliance will lead to further development of shitty feminist ideas? OR that they will try to hijack your movement like they try to do with every other movement? I’m of the opinion that feminism poisons everything it touches because of being illiberal.
What’s the relationship between the MRM and labels like anti-SJW, anti-SJ, and anti-feminism? Should anti-sjw and anti-feminists have any similar concerns about MRAs as they have with feminism, social justice, and extreme social justice?
What’s the relationship like between the MRM and meninism? Is it seen as being an obstacle? Is it seen as a helpful source of satire? Has it brought people into the MRM, despite it’s satirical nature and origins? Has meninism shared helpful ideas that the MRM concerns itself over?
How does the MRM perceive the concept of sexism and equality? Is there much of a consensus on that?
What’s the relationship like with MRAs and skeptics and atheists? Is atheism+ still around, and have they been a source of dissent? Are MRAs disproportionately atheist?
How do you respond to hate and prejudices that MRAs sometimes have about men and women? Are there many problems with gendered prejudices in the movement?
What model of gender do MRA’s generally accept? Do they accept the same (bullshit) one as social (justice) theories?
If you think feminist theories have shit gender models, explain what’s wrong with those models?

These are some questions to ask Female MRAs such as myself. I’m sure I could think of more, so maybe keep in touch and hit that follow button. I mean, if you even ever needed more- I’m sure that’s a good hunk of material to work with.

Kind of a broad question, but honestly just try to be a good person. Male or female really shouldn't matter. Just don't make assumptions or judgements about people until you have the whole story. Form your own opinions based on doing your own research. Don't rely on click bait headlines or word of mouth.

The biggest inequality is not between me and some master race or gender, the biggest inequality is between me and politicians, me and banks, me and corporations, me and oppressive regimes that have more swaying the outcome of my leaders’ and their decisions than I do. You and I can be arrested for killing, regardless of our color or danglies. They can’t be arrested, not by the authority of the outgroup, not by the authority of the people, only by the decisions of those among them. You can’t hardly arrest a cop, let alone a ceo or senator who breaks the law or violates the rights of people abroad using your taxes to do it.

It benefits them to keep you distracted with smaller battles. That’s why the media talks so much about identity politics now, it’s why they were so heavily christianized when that was the big issue, it’s why they are now siding with the far left as though they actually care about your low class ideological issues. Odd they would do that, catering to you AND your opponent’s side on the little bathroom and gun issues while shilling for establishment politicians and corporate interests at the same time, isn’t it? It’s propagandists playing both sides of the chessboard.

You know, if the people who pay the media to run their stories, which is a very select few people, if they wanted you to vote for someone else, enough of you would. They always get their way, collectively. It is their interests that are served and never people’s, never the interests of the country or community, and rarely human rights. It’s the tiny fraction of the super rich who know how to play you through the media who get their way and they do it through lying to you. They always chose how the country is run and who gets in politics because the only few ordinary people who give a fuck are delusional about how politics work. Their eyes are on the political stage, and not on the patterns of politicians actual decisions.

For politicians, it’s all about the charisma and smear campaigns now, their choices never matter anymore. And corporations have the power to sway them with lobbyists. Ambassadors from oppressive regimes like Saudi Arabia have the power to sway them. That’s not something white people can say as a group, that’s not something men can say, that’s not something christians or strait or cis people can say, or able bodied people, or middle class people.

If you are on radicalized websites such as tumblr, you are equal to most of the people among the 99%, especially when you compare your position to the titanic inequality between you and your so-called representatives that you supposedly still elect ‘democratically’. Any inequality that MRA’s,feminist, and BLM have with anyone are plutocratically inconsequential. When a politician promises a law to make you more equal to other citizens, it is a microscopic change to if they made you equal to the politican, to the corporation, or equal to the rich families who senators and congressmen spend half their time with going to cocktail parties just to fund their ability keep their position in Washington. Politicians don’t really answer to you, they answer to corporations, banks, Wallstreet, and the super rich.

The fate of human rights lay with those who have great power and not a single one of you do. If oppression = power + prejudice, you’re all oppressed in the west.

Be honest, be kind, work hard, don't be two-faced, come to your own conclusions, read a lot, get regular exercise, have good personal hygiene but don't be obsessive, understand that men and women are different in many respects but this makes neither one superior, don't expect to be able to have equal rights and get away with stuff because you're a girl.

You can be a housewife or a high-powered wealthy attorney and as long as you are polite and well mannered, courteous and kind, I will respect you. If you mistake rudeness for strength and make it obvious that you do not like men and try to one-up them or put them down (or women for that matter), then I will not respect you.

In terms of attractiveness, I feel a good woman is one who is firm but nurturing, supportive but not domineering, that allows men to be masculine and women to be feminine but does not see either as a weakness or a method of exploitation (men and women should have equal authority in a relationship, even if they handle things in different ways). I would need to know that she will be a good mother to our children, ensuring we can work as a team to make them grow up to be intelligent, hard working, honest, respectful and all round good and productive members of society.

I would want her to not have been promiscuous and to behave in what I consider to be a ladylike way, no getting drunk every weekend or being loud or crude, good table manners, not watching too much garbage on TV. A good conversationalist that takes an interest in current affairs and cares about injustices in the world (as in real ones such as war crimes or poverty, not a transgender person going mad that there are different pronouns for boys and girls).

Bit of a ramble, but I hope that answered your question. Obviously these are just my preferences, and I realise they may not all be found. I wouldn't try to push these on someone.

Treat people equally and forgo discrimination.

Why in the world would we think all women are bad?

I'm married to a wonderful woman and have an awesome daughter.

If not, what kind of woman is worthy of respect in your opinion.

Capable women who can handle themselves. Women who can take care of themselves. Women who can do for themselves. Women who can support themselves. Women who don't discriminate based on gender, race, or orientation.

That's the kind of women I respect ( other people's opinions may very).
