Those comments with the video are really showing the entitled attitudes of some people. Guys shouldn't hit a woman, he should have walked away, he used too much force. When I was in high school a girl (my ex to be honest) stabbed me in the face with a pen, punched me in the eye with rings on so I couldn’t see shit, she the proceeded to knee me in the jaw twice and got me the ground and slammed the back of my skull into the concrete splitting the back of my head open, and normally I would have defended myself but it was a cheap shot that came when I least expected it. The school told me to take it to the police cause obviously I got stabbed in the face with a pen, when I went to the cop shop and asked to make the report- the cop looked at me and just said “why didn’t you hit her back” Well for one ya dumb cunt I got stabbed in the face with a pen and copped a pretty savage beating and couldn’t open my eyes properly after being hit cause that’s where she had hit me (the pen cut a 2 inch slice in my cheek up to near my eye) I was also suspended from school due to the incident. Nowadays if some bitch raised her fist to me and hit me i have no issue with knocking the fuck out of her. And as I’ve been bottled, hit with a brick, had my skin gouged out by girls, they deserve what they get in return. If you wanna talk, act and throw a punch like a bloke then expect to be hit back like one.

While I don't condone what happened here, I don't condone violence in general. When someone, male or female, puts their hands on someone else all bets are off. When one person chooses to escalate a situation with physical violence they can't also be upset when things don't go their way. Every autonomous person has a right to defend themselves against physical assault, regardless of the sex of the aggressor. That being said, as the bigger person, both physically and morally, he should have chosen a different route of defense. This was a bit too far, in my opinion
