That will depend on the specifics of the case. If that is the only evidence then you have a good chance of being acquitted. You also have a decent chance of being convicted. Juries are unpredictable.

In order to understand what the jury is going to see, we would need to see those text messages. Your issue is going to be highly case specific. A jury Can convict you on this. The question is whether or not they will.

As a matter of law, it will be nearly impossible for you to be convicted on the sole testimony of the alleged victim. There are rules of evidence in place against that. There must be some other evidence.

Unfortunately, you are a witness for the prosecution, so to speak. This trial is going to depend very heavily on what you said in your texts to her. Her testimony plus your testimony could land you in prison, but it sounds like a weak case. I have no way of knowing how strong the evidence against you is without seeing those damned text messages.

Document. Get a lawyer. Lawyer up immediately, make sure they are a good lawyer. Her word alone and evidence you had sex is not supposed to be valid grounds for a conviction, however, it often is.

It also is possible the judge will dismiss the case.

Well, I doubt in the case of real rape that the victim would be arguing with the rapist about what was and wasn't consent afterwards lol. So, you have that in your favour, doesn't sound particularly viable.

What you should really be considering is the impact of the accusation itself - legal fees, reputation etc. Since most rape accusations lack sufficient evidence for a conviction, the process of being accused has been made into the punishment itself.
